The 21st Annual Perinatal Partnership Conference: Celebrating Birth in the Carolinas will be held September 28-30. The
conference will be held at the Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle
Beach, SC.
The Perinatal Partnership Conference Committee is a diverse
group of perinatal professionals from across South Carolina and
North Carolina. Each member is passionate about making a difference by
providing leadership, education and advocacy. This partnership allows each
association to combine state, regional and local resources to promote the
health and wellbeing of families.
This year’s conference will have two pre-conference workshops entitled
“Cardiac STABLE” and “Advanced Cardiac Life Support with an Obstetric Focus.” A
few of the other topics that will be discussed at this year’s conference are: breastfeeding
and neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS), management of preeclampsia, MRSA,
gastroesophageal reflux, hemorrhage protocol in obstetrics, and perinatal
palliative care.
Mid-Carolina AHEC is a proud partner of the South Carolina Perinatal
Association and the North Carolina Perinatal Association.
